Alexandra is a writer, coach and develops programmes to benefit good mental health. Having been crippled by both anxiety and depression, Alexandra sought help from professionals, teachers and other people who’d recovered.
At the end of the eight-year journey, she was finally back on her feet.
Having chronicled her recovery she went on to become a best-selling author.
Since then, Alexandra has coached thousands of others, helping them on their own recovery from anxiety and depression. Understanding the difficulty in accessing meaningful treatment that gets to the heart of mental health issues, she went on to develop self-help programmes. This enabled her to support even more people in regaining their mental health.
She has been acknowledged as an important voice in the self-help industry, appearing on mainstream TV and being featured in the national press. She has been recognised by organisations such as SANE and the Mental Health Foundation.
The Daily Mail serialised one book declaring, ‘Alexandra Massey’s remarkable programme helped her survive. And it can do the same for millions of other sufferers.’
Alexandra lives in Hampshire, with her son, and spends her days coaching others and walking Lola the dog whether or not Lola wants it.
